A: VXDIAGSHOP engineer confirmed that the vxdiag is compatible with i-HDS & rewrite software and the online programming is available. But we neither provide nor sell the software.


FYI: What is Honda i-HDS?
The i-HDS (Honda Diagnostic System) software is suite for the diagnosis and repair of electronic systems on Honda and Acura automobiles, and for the reprogramming of electronic control units (including, but not limited to, ECMs and PCMs). This software provides access to all Honda and Acura vehicle systems (access to the immobilizer security system requires a Security Professional level software subscription and Vehicle Security Professional [VSP] registration with NASTF).
To use the i-HDS software, you need to purchase one of the convenient subscription options. In addition, you will need a pass-thru Vehicle Communication Device (VCI) that is compliant with SAE J2534-1 and J2534-2 in order to communicate with the vehicle.

Included in the i-HDS software suite is a new reprogramming application called J2534 Rewrite. This application is made available to all subscribers of the i-HDS software suite and replaces the previous generation software, J2534 Honda Pass-thru Reprogramming Software.

Run Xentry newest version.

Passenger cars W211 by automatically scanning.


Press "F2" to determine the data.

Again, click on"F2" to determine the data.
DAS is initialized communication layer.

Get the IMPORTANT NOTE on you should ensure enough power supply.

Click on "Quick Test" and "F3".

Click on "ME 9.7", then "F3" after reading the safety notes.


Click on "F1" to back to click on "Control Unit adaptation".
Choose "Variant coding".


Click on "SCN coding" then "F3".

Login with your user name and password.



The 221 ME9.7 SCN coding has been completed successfully, choose "F2" to continue.
You can also choose print the test report.


Click on "ESC" to exit VXDIAG Benz software.

What's the difference between VXDIAG VCX NANO series and VCX Pro (green interface with multi-brand software)?

1. VCX NANO interface supports single car brand software only. You cannot add other license to the device.
While you are able to add other car brand software to VXDIAG VCX Pro scanner.
Avaliable car software are: Toyota Techstream, Honda HDS, Ford/Mazda IDS, Volvo VIDA, JLR SDD, GM GDS2/Tech2win,VW ODIS
2.VCX NANO has USB and WiFi version, VCX Pro has USB version only.

A:  Yes, only to VXDIAG FULL multi device. But need to purchase laptop additionally to use with PIWIS3.

VXDIAG VCX NANO IDS review on Mazda 6 GH2 2008

New vxdiag test report from a Russian Mazda owner.

Model tested: Mazda 6 2nd generation (GH-series) year 2008
Interface: VXDIAG VCX NANO for Ford/Mazda 2-in-1 USB version

I got it installed and connected to the PC of day 2. I connected everything! it works now! made a couple of screenshots.



It was interesting to see the errors, the errors were displayed, but here it was both joyful and sad. Low pressure error in AT.


On the Internet more detailed decoding:
