How to Select Country in VXDIAG Nissan Software?

Problem:

Had a problem with VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan and Consult 3 Plus V240 software. Cannot find Infinity Q60S 2016 model. It is not listed in the car menu. It did not do automatic
VIN reading, if put the VIN it says it is not in the list.

 

Solution:

The user may not have selected the correct region and country.

How to choose region or country in Consult iii plus software?

Hit “Sub mode” under Application setting.

Select “Country Selection“.

Select the correct region/country and press “Set”.

Read VIN again.

VXDIAG Nissan V241 Error Not Support Version Solution

Problem:

Failed to start VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Consult iii plus V241 software from patch.  It reported an error “not support version”.

Solution:

Download new patch for Consult3 plus V241.

Run software from the new patch. It will be fine.

VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Not Display VCI or Car Info Solution

Problem:

Set up Consult 3 v240.10 software and vx manager for the VXDIAG VCX SE NISSAN device.  The device is not connecting to the software or vehicle properly. VCI is not detected. The attached screenshot shows that Consult 3 displays the connected vehicle voltage, but no vehicle information. Any solution?

Solution: 

The user did not select Nissan VCI device. So the device is not recognized by the software.

Press Select VI/MI

Press VCI

Select VCX VCI

Choose device 88888888 and press Connect

Now VXDIAG VCI is detected by Consult3 plus software.

VXDIAG Nissan V241 Asks for PC Authentication Solution

Problem:

During the installation of the VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Consult III Plus V241 software, the system prompts for PC authentication. Where can I obtain the required user ID and password?

Solution:

This issue is likely related to the laptop or operating system being used. The Nissan Consult III Plus V241 installation process does not require a user ID or password.

Feedback:

After a TeamViewer diagnostic session, it was discovered that the software was conflicting with Panasonic Toughbook drivers. Switching to a different laptop and reinstalling the software resolved the issue.

VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Win11 VCI Not Recognized Solution

Here is vxdiagshop.com‘s customer working experience on setting up VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Consult 3 Plus software on Windows 11. Hope it helps.

 

“It won’t recognize my VCX SE after the install. I tried everything. All the VX Manger drivers are installed, I tried it manually, etc. It is a Win11 laptop.

In Version Display in Consult 3, it says blank for VI Firmware and blank for MI Firmware.

My VCS SE is plugged in via USB and has power to it.

Updated. 

I got it to work with some REGEDITS. You should probably share these for people.

J2534 PassThru for Nissan Consult III+

1. Install Niassan Consult III+.

2. Make sure the driver for your PassThru is installed.

3. Open regedit.exe

4. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > PassThruSupport.04.04

5. From there choose your device. (For example I have a Nexiq Usb-link, so I choose either ” NEXIQ Technologies – USB-Link” or “NEXIQ Technologies – USB-Link Bluetooth”. I choose to use standard USB-Link)

6. Once you’ve click on your device look in the right column for “Name”

7.Right click on “Name” and choose “Modify…”

8. A window will appear copy exactly what it say in the “Value data:” box. (For example mine is “NEXIQ USB-Link over USB”)

9. Close regedit.

10. Navigate to “C:\CONSULT-III_plus\System\Application\ApplicationData\CommonSetting”

11. Open “DiagnosticTool.ini”

12. Copy & Paste the text below under “access_mode=1” in DiagnosticTool.ini
with the exception of putting the text you copied from regedit in place of “!!!!YOUR_DEVICE_NAME!!!!”:

VXDIAG Nissan V240 Cannot Scan System Solution

Problem:

It is an Infiniti ex35 2009 North American model. VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan Consult 3 plus v240 software is stuck on the scanning system page. How to fix it?

Try to connect to each single module, it stuck on this page and did not proceed.

Solution:

Patch issue.

Old patch (for Consult3 plus 226) is not working with the V240 or later Nissan software. Otherwise will fail to scan/diagnose systems.

Use new patch. It communicates with system now.

VXDIAG Nissan Software Stuck After Select Vehicle?

Problem:

Tried to diagnose a Nissan Juke F15 2014 with VXDIAG VCX SE Nissan. After selecting vehicle information in V240 Consult3 plus software, press confirm the program stuck and will not proceed.

Any clue?

Solution:

Choose your vehicle region correctly during the first installation.

For example, if this car is manufactured in UK, don’t select Japan country/region during the first installation, otherwise, software will stuck when scanning all systems.

In this case, choose area as Europe. Then restart program.

Open software folder
Open C3P_V241.13.00 folder

Select your country
Select application language
Follow prompts to install set up until finished.

Open C3P_V241.20.00 folder
Run Setup as Administrator
Software installation succeeded

Open Pplus_V241.1F folder
Run Pplus_V241.1F program
Select setup language and extract database

Open Pplus_V241.2 folder
Run Pplus_V241.2 program
Select setup language and install database

Install VX Manager

Send Loader patch from software folder to desktop shortcut

Connect VCX SE or VCX NANO Nissan scanner with laptop via USB. Check device is well connected in vx manager.
Install Nissan VCI driver in vx manager
Keep vxdiag firmware and license update to date.

Run Nissan software from loader on desktop

Select VI/MI device

Software will search VCI.

VCX device is detected. Press “Connect” to connect VCI.

Now software is ready to use.

The immobilizer menu is gray and the DiagnosticTool.ini file needs to be replaced to activate this function.

Activate Immobilizer function
Go to Win10Prox64/Consult-iii_Plus/System/Application/ApplicationData/CommonSetting folder
Delete DiagnosticTool.ini file.
Copy and replace DiagnosticTool.ini file from software folder to the CommonSetting folder
Run software from Loader again.
Now you will see Immobilizer menu is activated
Software is ready to use.
