Problem:
Got a VXDIAG VCX SE Benz with other licenses, vx manager showed all licenses have expired, but it actually works till 2030.
Cannot renew license, reflash firmware still the same. Any solution?
Solution:
If all licenses show expired and cannot be renewed, check your system date/time. Make sure your system date is correct, then renew the license again.
You can also try a firmware reflash.
If still not working, provide S/N to us to manually renew license.
If you cannot see any license in VXDIAG VX Manager, here are the possible solutions.
Possible solutions:
1.Update firmware, then update license, check license again. Make sure you have the corresponding software driver installed.
If have a poor network, you may fail to update firmware.
Change a USB port and good network connection (or WiFi hotspot) to update firmware & license.
2. If try solution 1, still same problem. Reinstall vx manager on the same PC and check license again.
3. Or install vx manager driver on another laptop and check license.
If there is no license can be found in vxdiag scanner vx manager after updating firmware and license, here is the solution.
Solution:
Disconnect vcx nano/vcx se/vcx doip for 3 minutes.
Connect device with laptop, update firmware and license again. It should be fine.
If still don’t see any software license, send the device serial number to vxdiagshop.com to check or add license manually.
We have customers frequently ask why the vx manager shows valid days 60 after renewing the license.
Vxdiag license should be renewed every 60 days starting from year 2021.
Renew license requires update vxdiag vci firmware as well.

Hello to you, I am looking for a solution to my problem if you can help me please, I have a vxdiag vcx nano vw with serial number N52VA12*** with a license that expires on 12/31/2020, givingg error “Your device needs to renew your license”, how to renewed it? And I would also like to know the other expiration date shown in the photo what is it (02/03/2021)?

If vxdiag prompts renew license error, it is because the vx manager version is too old, cannot update directly, you can download newest vx manager (1.8.1.1012 Dec. 2020 version) here to install again for every software system.

After install, connect your PC to network, connect the vxdiag device to PC, click “Firmware” to update firmware and firmware doip to newest. After finish, please click “Restart”, then click “Update license” to renew.
The other expiration date should be 31/12/2030
