VXDIAG Renault V237 Cannot Diagnose Zoe 2021 Solution

Problem:

It’s a Renault ZOE 50 limited 2021. VXDIAG VCX SE Renault and CLIP V237 software reads the VIN and scans the modules. But when it comes to diagnosis, it asks for the TOKEN.

He would not diagnose and delete errors in other modules.

Solution:

The Renault ZOE introduced after 2020, including the 2021 model year, utilizes the Alliance Diagnosis Tool (ADT) software for diagnostics and maintenance.
ZOE models introduced after 2020 are equipped with a secure gateway, requiring specialized tools and procedures for diagnosis. The ADT software, along with a Renault E token, is necessary to unlock this gateway for diagnostic purposes.

Even Autel cannot diagnose these models without SGW gateway bypass.

Trafic 3 Phase 2 is diagnosed under ADT. This vehicle will have a secure gateway so will need to be unlocked, you may need ADT and the Renault E token to diagnose.

VXDIAG Renault CLIP V237 ZOE 2018 Asks for Token?

Problem:

Tried to diagnose a Renault Zoe (2018) with the VXDIAG VCX SE Renault scanner and CLIP V237. It read the VIN, scan some modules, but when it goes to diagnose, it asks for the TOKEN, tested it with different versions of the CLIP V219, V234, V237, nothing changed. Any solution?

Solution:

It is not the diagnose hardware which asks for USB token but the software. The newer CLIP versions ( +v214 ) does no more contain VIN database to identify the car you diagnose and that`s why it asks for token to access Renault.net to do the right job.

VXDIAG Renault CLIP is the cracked version, it is not compatible with e-Token.

 

Some Euro 5 and Euro 6 Renault cars can be tied to ADT software.

VXDIAG Renault CLIP V219 Vehicle Selection is Gray Solution

Problem:

After installing the VXDIAG VCX SE Renault CLIP V219 software, the vehicle model selection options are grayed out and cannot be selected.
What is the solution to this problem?

Solution:

Ensure that the Renault VCI driver is properly installed.

Install the RENAULT VCI Driver and VX Manager, and make sure the Renault driver is installed within VXManager.

If the issue persists, it may be due to the computer’s operating system. Avoid installing the software on a Home Edition system.

Try reinstalling the software on a different computer system.

VXDIAG Renault Trafic III PH2 Vehicle Not Diagnosed by CLIP?

Problem:

I use VXDIAG VCX SE and CLIP.

My CLIP v237 keeps giving errors. Error “Vehicle not diagnosed by CLIP. please switch to ADT”

What is ADT and how to solve it?

Solution:

If you are using CLIP software, you will receive an error message: “The vehicle is not subject to diagnosis with the CLIP device, please switch to the ADT device.”
Renault Group has launched the Alliance Diagnosis Tool (ADT) across its dealer network worldwide. ADT is the next generation of diagnostic and repair tool for vehicles manufactured after 2020.

Trafic III PH2 is part of ADT.

VXDIAG VCX NANO Renault does not work via DOIP and cannot be used as a transit communication channel with the ADT, the Renault program.
VXDIAG VCX SE works via DOIP, but some users tested it and found that they could not use physical token for ADT.

Therefore, for new Renault cars with the SGW security gateway, it is better to use the original RNM VCI or Autel/Launch X431 scanners (you will still have to bypass the gateway).

Use the Gateway OBD 16+32 adapter. The SGW is under the gear knob, behind the plastic cover.

What Renault Clip Version for VXDIAG VCX SE?

Question:

My Renault CLIP V222 version cannot detect vxdiag vcx se Renault DoIP cable.

Do i need older or newer version or patch or something? Driver is installed and have renault active license.

 

 

Solution:

V219 Clip version works fine.

The latest version tested working is V237. You can use both V219 or V237.

vxdiag works with CLIP 237. Just need to use proper driver.

How to Install VXDIAG Renault CLIP V237 Software on Win10?

 

Step 1: Disable Windows Defender
Turn off Windows Defender
Turn off real-time protection, cloud-based protection and automatic sample submission.

Enable NET framework 3.5
Allow Download files from Windows Update.

Step 2: Install Setup

Download and extract Renault CLIP V237 software folder
Open folder software
Run reg file registry file.

Merge registry successfully.

Run V237 folder, install CLIP Setup.exe

Run First installation

Accept license agreement
Select region and language during the installation, and it cannot be changed after installation.

After the software installation is complete, the computer will automatically restart.
The software will continue to install after computer restarts,
If not, please manually run the installer again.

Finish first installation.

Step 3: Install VCI driver
Install RNM VI VCI driver

Install Bosch VCI driver completed.

Run Renault VCI Driver on desktop

Connect VCX SE Renualt device with laptop.
Check if device is well connected.
Update firmware and license.

Step 4: Activate software

 

Run CLIP software on desktop
If CLIP says run as Administrator detected, press YES to continue.

Accept license contract.
Press Register me now.
Are you part of the Renault Network, press No.

Send the software ID (CLIP serial number) to us to get the activation code.

We will send you the activation code in notepad.

Input activation code and press Confirm to activate CLIP software.

The software now is ready to use.

If CLIP shows error No sensor detected (VCI is not detected), make sure you have the RNM VCI driver installed.
