Will VXDIAG VCX SE Work with PSA Diagbox 9.186?

Question:

Got the VXDIAG VCX SE with PSA license. Does it work with Diagbox 9.186 version software?

 

According to feedback from our customers, the VXDIAG device can be used with the DIAGBOX software 9.186 (also cracked).

You can download it free from psa-diag.fr website.

System requirement: Windows 11 or 11 64bit, no virtual machine.
RAM 12GB
Bios mode: UEFI
English by default.
Diagbox is multilingual
Tested with cars from 90’s to 2024 and okay.
100% offline, no update or connecting directly in diagbox.

Disable defender only before launch PSADIAG SOFTWARE it can be seen as virus.

The current software version provided by VXDIAG is 9.185 (also known as 9.85), which requires activation.

Our technical team has not yet tested version 9.186, so you may test it by your side. You are at your own risk.

Note: Activation of PSA software authorization is required before using any PSA software.

VXDIAG Diagbox VMware Peugeot 5008 Review

Review: Using VXDiag VCX SE PSA and DiagBox via Vmware with Peugeot 5008.

 

The tool is tested via Diagbox in a VMWare virtual machine, providing insights into its performance, compatibility, and ease of use.

 

The process begins with launching DiagBox 9.129 (VMware version) in a virtual environment. After connecting the cable, the tool prompts the user to select the connection method—choosing “Box” establishes the link. The system initially defaults to Citroën, but switching to Peugeot allows for proper communication with the vehicle.

The tool successfully reads the VIN number, confirming a stable connection.

The tool scans the vehicle’s modules, identifying multiple control units.

 

Diagnostic Performance

Initially, the tool fails to locate the ECU but later identifies it during a full system scan.

Error Reading: The tool requires multiple ignition cycles (turning the key on/off) to fully read error codes and parameters. Checking error codes and live data for engine, transmission, and other systems.

User Interface: The updated DiagBox interface includes visual aids, making it more user-friendly for beginners.

The diagbox is optimized for Peugeot, Citroën, and DS vehicles, offering more accurate diagnostics than generic tools like LAUNCH or VCDS.

 

Weaknesses:

VXDIAG PSA Not Read Peugeot Partner 2006 Modules?

Problem:

Set up VXDIAG VCX SE with PSA Diagbox v9.85 software.

The program starts, successfully identifies the car based on the chassis number.
The diagnostic function does not start. 9.85 software detects the VIN automatically then disconnects,and  cannot read modules. It's a Peugeot Partner 1.6HDI 2006.

Solution:

VXDIAG PSA device is for 2006 and onwards CANBUS models.

Try manual selection instead of automatic detection.

If it still fails, the software is missing database for this model.

For 06 and older Peugeot Citroen models, especially k-line models, use the old lexia3 interface instead.

 

VXDIAG PSA Diagbox License Invalid Solution

Problem:

VXDIAG VCX SE PSA Diagbox 9.85 failed to connect to a Citroen DS2. The software searches for the VCI and then it says the license is invalid. However, the PSA license was activated. Both firmware and license are up-to-date.

Vxdiagshop.com engineer did a Teamviewer check and found the solution.

Many software on his computer conflict with the diagbox software.

Since the VXDIAG PSA scanner uses a separate driver for diagbox, you should install Diagbox software on a separate laptop.

Then it should be fine.

VXDIAG PSA Diagbox Cannot Read Module Citroen C4 Solution

Problem:

It is a Citroen C4 PICASSO C4 SPACETOURER, VIN: VF73ABHZTGJ675964. VXDIAG VCX SE PSA Diagbox 9.85 software detects the VIN automatically then disconnects,and  cannot read modules. The program says automatic detection of the vehicle is interrupted.

Solution:

www.vxdiagshop.com engineer did a Teamviewer check and solved the problem.

Try manually selecting C4 PICASSO instead of auto selection.

Then Diagbox will read module without problem.

VXDIAG PSA Diagbox 9.85 VCI is Not Connected Solution

Problem:

Got the PSA driver installed and vx manager detected the VXDIAG VCX SE PSA VCI. Followed the instructions to install Diagbox 9.85 but the software did not see VCI. No VCI connection with software and vehicle.

Any solution?

Solution:

Vxdiagshop.com technician did a Teamviewer check and found some programs on his system are in conflict with the PSA driver.

Don’t install GM, VAG, Nissan, Ford etc software with Diagbox driver and software.

Install Diagnox 9.85 on a separate laptop or partition.

GDS2 or Diagbox for 2020 Opel Grandland X?

One of our customers reported that VXDIAG VCX SE PSA diagbox software 9.85 read the VIN on his 2020 Opel Grandland X European model, but could not proceed, diagbox software stuck after reading VIN. Images attached:

VXDIAG diagbox software does not support Opel Vehicles. If the Grandland X is 2020/2021 then is legacy Opel but not PSA models with Diagbox. Crossland X 2020/2021 is still on GDS2. GDS2 latest version 2024.05 does have Opel Grandland X/Crossland X 2020/2021 listed.

Also you open an account at PSA by yourself and buy a subscription and you will be able to install it without pay to someone else.

The Opel/Vauxhall coverage is up to 2018 when the Opel went to PSA.

So you need EU GDS2 that covers Opel up to 2021. GDS2 Global/NA has no Opel 2020 coverage.

To be much more clear. If you can do diagnostic in that car by GDS2 then you need to buy Legacy Opel SPS Programming subscription but not Diagbox token.

To do SPS programming you will need an account ( public servicebox-parts.com ) and you have to buy an SPS Programming subscription.
You need Legacy Opel subscription if you was able to use GDS2 in that car.

How to Solve VXDIAG PSA Diagbox Load SDK DLL Failed?

Problem:

Got the PSA license activated for the VXDIAG VCX SE device. After installing the PSA VCI driver, it didn’t detect the VCX SE unit. The driver reported an error “Diagbox Load SKL DLL failed”.

Any solution?

Solution:

Uninstall and reinstall the PSA VCI Driver management tool.

PSA uses a separate driver.

Run PSA VCI driver and check if device is connected.

Then run Diagbox software on desktop.
