VXDIAG VCX SE Benz supports Vediamo?

Question:

I cannot decide which device to buy for a long time.  then I came across the VXDiag VCX SE device.  It says it can do doip, and I won’t have any problems while flashing.  Other devices I can think of are VXDiag VCX C6 and SD Connect C4 Plus (Clone).   Which would you prefer?  ? Does it work with Vediamo?

DTS Monaco: 100% Yes.  Xentry hard drive/solid drive comes with DTS software.

Vediamo: No

Only 2 of our customers passed the test.  Most failed to work Vediamo with vcx se. So better don’t use the vcx se with Vediamo.

MB SD C4 supports both DTS Monaco and Vediamo, vcx se does not support Vediamo

vcx se allows firmware update online, C4 cannot.

vcx se has vx manager to check device connection features, C4 does not.

vcx se can be enabled with DoNET remote diagnosis, C4 cannot.

The biggest advantage of vcx se is that you can add other brand licenses to the device, c4 is for Mercedes only.

Can VXDIAG VCX SE Benz Bleed SBC brake system?

I want to activate, deactivate and bleed air out of system. (SBC brake system…) I need this SBC FUNCTION this is the only reason I bought this VXDIAG VCX SE for BENZ DoIP scanner. i have tested with LAUNCH CRP429C, AUTEL MK808, and UCANDAS BT….. none of them support ABS/SBC bleed on my car (year2007)… But both LAUNCH and UCANDAS BT could do this function up to year 2006. mentioned on their Home/website.

 

This is what I did with : Passenger car -> Xentry Diagnosis -> F2 ->Data are being determined and can’t go ahead.

And no matter what I choose next and then click on “F3”, nothing happens.

For Mercedes, all programming functions need to perform with online account and authorization.

That is all programming functions for Mercedes,  need to get account and authorization from original.

The method to get online account: from original Daimler.

 

For this function, can perform with DTS Monaco (it is included in the software hdd).

Only have have video for using DTS with C4, for reference:

but it is similar to use vxdiag device, please note, when you use dts, need to use USB cable to connect device to laptop.

VXDIAG VCX SE Benz DoIP Xentry Passthru Review

The new vxdiag vcx se for Benz device is designed to diagnose and program Mercedes benz cars. You can also use BMW and a lot of all sorts of programs that it supports.  Here we show how it works in VCI mode, like VXDIAG Benz C6.

The device is good workmanship, good usb cable and plastic case. 

The software supports Mercedes 20105 up, it does not support older models. This is the drawback. But everthything seems to be set up now.

We are testing this device.  We will show the installation and configuration of Passthru also OpenShell XDOS.

Vxdiagshop provides HDD or SSD Openshell version. You can make it work with Passthru if you wish.

We will also demonstrate its operation.

The vcx se Benz device also has the ability to support DOIP for updating commands and newer cars.

First of all, we need to download vx manager driver on VXdiagshop.com

They have latest version vxdiag related driver and software available.

The device has the ability to work via wifi and also through USB cable.

We start install vx manager driver 

Install Passthru J2534 and BENZ XENTRY program

Other license are listed here. You need to buy a license for them separately.

Finish install VX Manager

The device is now connected via a USB cable.

Check device information, serial number

Go to Diagnostic tab

Choose Passthru, run an update 

Driver is being installed, updated.

Update C6 driver as well

Complete installation, we see the voltage, which is shown below and the internet is also connected to it.

In this case ,vcx se will not connect in VCI mode, because we first test the Passthru program, not OpenShell.

Connect vcx se Benz with vehicle (ML-164) via OBD socket

We connect without cable via wifi

Connect via a WIFI connection, in fact a vey convenient device, with higher capabilities, works more fully with Passthru than Openshell.

Open vx manager, we see that we have WIFI connection, see the tabs in which you can reboot it, connect DoIP, update the firmware.

We launch xnery and select VXDIAG using the passthru j2534 protocol.

All the rest work is the same as through Openshell, you must use the ‘ignition enable’ file which replaced the ignition emulator, connect to our car, we see that we have ignition file.

We run a short test.

It works quite quickly, it main advantage is that you can remotely connect to this device through the cloud (DONET remote diagnosis), even while at home.

All modules are read correctly, and old car is in DAS to check how it works.

We see that we forgot to start the ignition file, the ignition emulator, now we have it active. 

The program correctly see the ignition lock. 

For the price and function, it is worth buying.

VXDIAG Benz Firmware Update Not Allowed in DONET

 Problem:

I need help with the vxdiag vcx se Benz doip. It reported error VCI cannot be used. I thought it might be the VCI problem so I got the doip vci firmware updated. However, it failed me and displayed another error “Upgrade firmware is not allowed in DoNET remote model”

1.For the VCI cannot be used error, need to install DoIP firmware update patch.

2. For firmware upgrade now allowed in DONET error, we saw you have setup DoNET remote diagnosis, but firmware update should be carried out via USB or WiFi wireless connection only.

Firmware cannot be updated via Donet connection.

Disconnect DONET Connection, connect vcx se benz doip with USB or WiFi to run firmware upgrade.

 

 

VXDIAG VCX SE Benz VCI Cannot be Used Solution

Here’s the working solution to VXDIAG VCX SE for Benz 2020.12 version Xentry “VCI Cannot be Used” error.

Problem goes like this:

Hook up vcx se Benz and 2012.12 version xentry, update both VCI and DoIP firmware no problem.

No communication. Reports error VCI cannot be used and xentry shows multiplier initialization failed

Put it on desktop. Connect device to laptop, run the update patch.

After finish install patch, reinstall Benz C6 driver from “Diagnostic” menu on vx manager.

Then click “Firmware” to update firmware again.
