Allscanner VXDIAG VCX Scanners released a new DoIP Firmware update on April 25th, 2022.  With this update, VXDIAG is compatible with BMW ISTA-D 4.34.xx version.

VXDIAG License Valid in 60 Days Solution

We have customers frequently ask why the vx manager shows valid days 60 after renewing the license.

Vxdiag license should be renewed every 60 days starting from year 2021.

Renew license requires update vxdiag vci firmware as well.

VXDIAG Firmware Update Error Code 8001 Solution

Problem:

My vxdiag vcx nano gm asks to renew license. so I follow this guide to install latest vx manager, update firmware and license.

It won’t let me update vci firmware and reported another error “Updated license failed! Retry. ErrorCode:8001” (image2)

VXdiagshop.com solution:

Force VCI firmware upgrade status to ON. If it is DoIP device, force both VCI and DoIP status to ON.

Then update firmware and license again.

If still not working, contact our customer service for help.
