VXDIAG Benz DTS Monaco All Gray Out Solution

Problem:
Hi, i have got a problem. The VXDIAG Benz DTS Monaco software is not working, all optional are grey out with no workspace loaded error..

Possible reason:
You didn't connect VXDIAG Benz C6 device to computer (check the C6 status on the right top of the interface)


Solution:
To use VXDIAG DTS Monaco engineer software, you have to connect VXDIAG C6 Benz VCI with laptop via USB.

Is it necessary to use VXDIAG Cloud Diagnosis?
Cloud Diagnosis is not necessary now.
1)
Cloud Diagnosis is made to help those who have difficulty in setup software on VMware (old Ford IDS, GDS2 requires VMware installation)
But now newer version software (IDS 112 above, GDS2 2019 above) can be installed on native machine directly. It is much easier than VMware. Does not require cloud diagnosis anymore.
2) Benz Xentry, BMW ISTA software can not be operated through Cloud Diagnosis
3) Cloud diagnosis is slower aboard (IP issue)

VXDIAG Subaru SSM3 Program Key success- confirmed

New customer feedback on vxdiag Subaru SSM3 multi tool.
The tool works for programming keys! Just make sure you buy a key which is "unlocked" because that is a separate process not supported by SSM. I bought this one on eBay:

To my surprise, vxdiag didn't even ask for the security immobilizer ID. And process described in SSM3 manual did not work (it says to go into Other Models > Each System Check > Keyless Unit Mode).
In the menu, I chose Other Models > Immobilizer > Generic Scan Tool > VxDiag > Smart key registration. I just had to hold the existing key up to the start button, then do it again with the new key, and voila! It works with both RF buttons and proximity sensing.

How to install GM Tech2Win bin file?

Tutorial: how to install GM tech2win software bin.file on Windows 7.

Tech2Win is a PC program that executes Tech2 software on a Windows PC. Tech2Win communicates with a vehicle through a vehicle communication interface (VCI), using the MDI or an ISO 22900 PDU API compliant device.

Compatible device: GM Tech2,  MDI or VXDIAG VCX NANO for gm


Procedure:
Repair GM NAO 33.004.bin file, can be free downloaded on various forums or pay for the 32MB GM card.

Open Tech2win software on desktop and Create new configuration

Create a configuration: GM NAO and press Copy

New configuration was created
Set COM port to #2

Multi-language optional

Save configuration


Extract GM NAO 33.004.zip file to desktop

Open Tech2Win software
Select Modify/View->GM NAO

paste memory card image location

Paste location and go to C:/Users/Public/General/Motors/Tech2Win/pcmcia
Delete GM Nao.bin file


Copy and Paste GM NAO 33.004(2991-2013) English(Tech2Win).bin to the folder
Rename GM NAO 33.004(2991-2013) English(Tech2Win).bin to GM NAO.bin


Open Tech2Win software, select GM NAO configuration

Initialize system
Now tech2win software is ready to use

VXDIAG GM SPS Programming E6961 Unknown Error Solution

When perform Chevrolet Malibu 2019 passenger car SPS programming using VXDIAG vcx nano gm gds2, it gave error :
"E6961: Unknown error during service programming event.
Please contact GM Support of problem persists."




Solution:
To perform VXDIAG GM Online programming and access SPS, you have to install VXManager driver & PassThru driver first.

After install PassThru driver, select J2534 VXDIAG device from SPS diagnostic tool list.

VXDIAG GM Tech2Win Missing Menu Solution

Problem:
Hi, i find there are only 2 function options of  on vxdiag gm Tech2win software main menu.

How can i find the missing menu?


Solution:
We assume you set it up on Windows 10 operating system.
Windows XP and Windows 7 32bit system are recommended.
After connect car model you should choose correct software pack.

VXDIAG 2006 Pontiac Montana No Communication Solution

Problem:
Vehicle  model: 2006 Pontiac Montana
Device: vxdiag vcx nano for gm Wifi version
Error: No communications with Vehicle Check Diagnostic link connector Check Ignition (On/Off).


Solution: 
Vxdiagshop.com engineer has checked the problem via Teamviwer.
The VXManager driver shows voltage 0.93v which indicates that you didn't connect vxdiag vcx nano interface with vehicle well.

After made good connection, open Tech2Win software on desktop and select North American 

Vehicle line must be selected before diagnosis.

Now you can start diagnosis.

VXDIAG Ford IDS review on F150 PCM Programming

VXDIAG Ford IDS new customer feedback (2019.10.18):
Well I was very skeptical to try this ... but it was my very last chance before I’ll take my truck to the shop .
So I decided to give it a try ...
... after couple of day learning this thing , learning ON HOW TO GET INTO IDS without paying big bucks , and after couple downloads , I found missing files and was finally able to make IDS work thru VXDIAG VCX NANO.
And guess what - I was able to program new /used/ PCM for my f150 .
So ya I saved money for sure because shop was gonna charge me 1600$ to install new pcm and program it , I did it for 300$ that’s how much new pcm and this reader cost me .
It’s NOT plug and play , and you will have to play before plug khekhe , but you can make it work .

VXDIAG Ford IDS Manager Initialization Error Solution

Problem:
My VXDIAG Ford IDS V114 worked perfect  for few day ago, but it refuse to run yesterday.
Give me error "Manager Initialization Error (Failed to initialize Vetronix Runtime rc=-5)"
Any idea?


Possible reasons & solution:
1.Don't install IDS software with Benz C6 XENTRY software. IDS requires independent operating system.
2.Don't use vci manager driver, the VCI Manager is for original vcm2 ids. Install VX Manager driver for vxdiag and start IDS on VXManager.
3. Don't update your IDS to v115. The latest version vxdiag ford ids goes to V114.

Free Download VXDIAG VCX Plus Firmware Reset File

Problem 1: 
After connect vxdiag full interface with vehicle, only 3 indicators turn on. The Host Communication Status blue indicator didn't turn on and computer cannot detect VX Manager driver. What can i do to make connection?

Solution:
Check your device serial number.  VXDIAG VCX Plus S/N starts with V83 requires a firmware reset.
Download FirmwareResetFile from official website:  http://www.vxdiag.net/wiki/en/#!pages/VXManager/FirmwareReset/index.md
file including reset file, reset video and IP Manager.exe

Problem 2:
I downloaded the Reset file and follow the video guide, but don't see this window and browser don't let me download the IP Manager.exe)


Solution:
IP Manager2018.08.01.exe is incompatible with some brower types. If cannot open IP Manager.exe, please contact vxdiagshop.com customer service to send you file online and run the file directly.
