Problem:
Had a problem with VXDIAG VCX SE Benz VCI and 2023.09 Xentry. VCI is not detected by the computer. It reported an error “Firmware is older than installed program version”.
Solution:
Run XENTRY VCI Recovery program on the desktop.
Don’t connect via WiFi when recovering VCI. Connect the device via USB cable.
Update Xentry Diagnostic VCI.
Select VCI version as 202309 after the update is finished.
If there is no 202309 version.
Check if Benz C6 has been installed/updated in VX Manager.
